We take your privacy seriously — especially because some of our learners are under 18. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. We’ve kept this as simple as possible so it’s easy to understand.
What Information We Collect
When you enroll in our course, we collect only three pieces of personal information:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your billing address (home or organization)
That’s it. We don’t ask for your personal address, phone number, date of birth, or any other personal details. If you are a student, your organization’s address is associated with you, not your home address.
How We Use Your Information
We use your name and email address only to:
- Set up and manage your account in our learning platform (Thinkific)
- Link your progress, certificates, and course interactions to you
- Allow course administrators to communicate with you about your learning
We also look at general usage data (like which lessons are completed most often) to help us improve the course. This data does not identify you personally.
Where Your Information Lives
All of your information is stored securely inside our learning management system, Thinkific. Your data does not leave this platform for any reason.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your account and course data active for 1 year after you complete the course. This gives you time to revisit your materials, download your certificate, or review anything you learned.
After 1 year, your data may be removed from the system.
We Do Not Share Your Data
We will never:
- Sell your information to anyone
- Share your information with outside companies or advertisers
- Give your information to third parties for any purpose
Your information stays within our organization, period.
A Note About Younger Learners
We understand that some of our learners may be under 18. Because of this, we have made sure to:
- Collect as little personal information as possible
- Never share student data with outside parties
- Keep all data secure within Thinkific’s platform
